Referrals

Referrals are based on individuals with mental health problems and will be accepted from Self referrals, Hospitals, Social Services, GPs, Homeless teams, Housing Sectors.

Our service provides support for individuals between the ages of 25-64. A structured assessment process will be carried out and an informal visit will be encouraged to give the individual an opportunity to make an informal choice.


Exclusion criteria

Individuals may be refused if they have a history of arson, drug or alcohol misuse that could be of a risk to other residents and staff.

Going Green Project

Our Lives supported Living is running a weekly garden project at Jubilee Allotment based in Handsworth.

This project is aim for vulnerable adults with mental health and Learning Difficulties.

This project offers a supportive safe and relaxing out door activity that will help and benefit.

The individuals in many ways such as:

  1. Preventing Isolation
  2. Friendship building
  3. Building self-esteem and confidence

This weekly gardening project is about planting, composting and growing.

This will enable the individuals to develop their skills and confidence in this open space growing their own produce and enjoying their crops which will impact on their physical and mental health wellbeing.

This project has been funded by the National Lottery and we are hoping to maintain a sustainable project through on-going findings.


We Are

Welcome to Our Lives Supported Living. We provide great quality support at an affordable cost. This supported accommodation is available for adults with mental health problems.

We can offer shared accommodation to bedsits. The type of support is dependant on your needs assessment.

Our service operates on a 24-hour support on site and off site. From 9.00am -9.00pm. On call is available from 21.00 hrs

We are based in Handsworth (Male clients), excellent amenities and easy bus access to Birmingham, West Bromwich and Perry Barr One Stop.
